Spring 2025 New Graduate Student Orientation*
Welcome to Âé¶¹³ÉÈ˰æ! We are pleased you will be joining us this Spring!
The New Graduate Student Orientation has two components. AnÌýin-person orientationÌýwill be held on January 28, 2025, and an email invitation for this event will be sent to all new graduate students.ÌýA second component of theÌýSpring 2025ÌýOrientation is offered as aÌý,Ìýwhich provides information about the resources available to you as a graduate student at Âé¶¹³ÉÈ˰æ. It will summarize graduate policies and procedures and provide guidance for success in your studies.Ìý
Ìýto confirm attendance for this upcoming Spring. You will need a Âé¶¹³ÉÈ˰æ UCID in order to access theÌý.ÌýRemember that your Âé¶¹³ÉÈ˰æ ID is different from your 8-digit Student ID Number.
An in-person orientation will be held on January 28, 2025, and an email invitation will be sent to all new graduate students.

Yes. Please note that incoming international graduate students will also have a separateÌývirtualÌýorientationÌýhosted by the Office of Global Initiatives, geared towards the concerns of international students.
Will there be an in-person orientation for additional questions?
Yes. An in-person orientation for both new domestic and international graduate students will be held on January 28, 2025, where you will receive additional guidance and strategies for graduate school success, Q&A, as well as meet some of the Office of Graduate Studies staff.

As a full-time orÌýpart-time matriculated domestic graduate student with an admissions application on file,Ìýyou may be eligible for federal student loans.Ìý If you have not already done so, submit theÌý.Ìý Be sure to enter Âé¶¹³ÉÈ˰æ's federalÌýschool code,Ìý002621.ÌýIf you would like to speak to an Âé¶¹³ÉÈ˰æ Financial Aid Counselor, please visit theÌýStudent Financial Aid ServiceÌýContactsÌýpage.
